Magali has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2022. In June 2021, Magali obtained her master’s degree at the University of Antwerp with a specialisation in Company and Corporate Law. After completing her law studies, she pursued an Advanced Master in Intellectual Propery and ICT Law at KU Leuven. The Advanced Master laid the foundations for a good development and growing interest in the field of IP.
Her academic journey has been complemented by practical experiences, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of legal dynamics. She did several internships whereby she gained valuable insights into the practical application of legal theory and enhanced her collaborative skills and expanded her knowledge in Intellectual Property Law.
Magali was rewarded the BMM Student Award in March 2022 for her thesis she wrote at the University of Antwerp. As part of the award, she was invited to publish a summary of her thesis in the BMM Bulletin of 2022. Recently, Magali wrote another publication for the Benelux Association on Trademark and Design Law on the unregistered community design.
Before joining Fencer, Magali worked at an Antwerp law firm where she engaged in diverse legal issues related to Intellectual Property Rights, Media & Entertainment Law and Privacy & Data Law.
